Frostburg State University will host a Summer Photo Workshop from Monday, June 17, through Saturday, June 22, at the FSU campus for high school juniors and seniors. Students must have a digital camera.
Participants will experience six days of intensive instruction in photography by Robert Hein, FSU assistant professor of Visual Arts. They will learn to understand and use their digital cameras for more than just snapshots and to edit their photography in Photoshop. At the conclusion of the workshop, they will have a summary print exhibit on campus and will receive a certificate.
Registration forms are available from local high school art teachers. Mail the form and a check for the $100 course fee (made out to Frostburg State University) to Frostburg Business Office, Attn: Photo Workshop, Frostburg State University, 101 Braddock Rd., Frostburg, MD 21532.
