Registration is open for the Music Education Summer Institute titled "Multicultural Music Education" being held from July 14 to 18 at Frostburg State University.
The weeklong institute is available for graduate credit and will focus on Multicultural K-12 music education, including Caribbean music for Orff instruments, South African choral singing, Chinese percussion ensemble and World Music Drumming.
In addition to daily workshops, there is a pot luck dinner and "informance" of world music the evening of Thursday, July 17, that will be open to the public.
