FSU Wildlife Society Holds Open Talk on Bear and Deer Population

Frostburg State University’s Wildlife Society will hold an open talk on Maryland’s whitetail deer and black bear management on Wednesday, Nov. 3, at 6 p.m. in the Compton Science Center room 224.

The Wildlife Society will discuss the management policies and issues concerning the heavy population of whitetail deer and black bears in the Western Maryland region. Maryland’s DNR’s Game Mammal Specialist Steve Bittner and Maryland DNR’s Black Bear Biologist Harry Spiker will host the talk.
