The Activities for Life Center at Frostburg State University will offer Youth Gymnastics for children ages 5 to 12 years of age on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Sept. 5 to Oct. 12.
A beginner class will be from 4 to 5 p.m. and the advanced class will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m., both in room 170 of the Cordts Physical Education Center on the FSU campus.
Children are taught basic compulsory routines established by the USA Gymnastics Association. For boys, apparatus and events will include floor exercise, horse, rings, vaulting, parallel bar and horizontal bar. For girls, it will be floor exercise, vaulting, uneven bars and balance beam.
