FSU’s Association for Computing Machinery Announces Programming Competition Prizes

The student chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery at Frostburg State University will hold a programming competition on Saturday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Pullen Hall Computer Labs on the FSU campus. The contest is open to all area high school and college students.

Amateur programmers will participate solo or in teams (of up to three) to solve as many computer-programming problems as possible in an allotted amount of time. Prizes will be given to the top 3 teams based on the greatest number of problems solved in the least amount of time. Top prize will be an X-box for each member with following prizes being “Age of Mythology” and wireless mice.

Registration is $13. Participants must show valid student ID or proof of enrollment.
