FSU’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences to Host Undergraduate Research Symposium
Frostburg State University’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will host an Undergraduate Research Symposium on Friday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Alice R. Manicur Assembly Hall of the Lane University Center. The event is free and open to the public.
Dr. Stephen J. Simpson, University provost and academic vice president, will kick off the event, which will celebrate the research accomplishments of FSU undergraduate students by allowing them to present their work to and share their experiences with peers. There will be 50 posters representing the research conducted by students from many departments. The symposium will also host area high school juniors as part of FSU’s College Preparation Intervention Program grant to improve college readiness in local high school students.
