FSU’s Cultural Events Series Seeks Groups for Preview of “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare”
09/16/2005

The Cultural Events Series at Frostburg State University will host a preview of “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)” on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 9 a.m. in the Performing Arts Center.

The play is a whirlwind roller coaster tribute to the immortal bard. Three actors will perform 37 Shakespearean plays and 154 sonnets in under just two hours. All 16 comedies are brought together into one story containing a shipwreck, an influential duke and his three sets of identical twins. The play had many years of change before its formal publishing in the United States in 1996. It was a smash hit Off-Broadway and the longest-running comedy in London.

The Cultural Events Series is looking for schools and organizations that would be willing to bring groups to the morning performance. There are a limited number of seats available. If you are interested or need further information, please contact the FSU CES Box Office at 301-687-3137 to arrange for the purchase of tickets.

FSU is committed to making all of its programs, services and activities accessible to persons with disabilities. You may request accommodations through ADA Compliance Office at 301-687-4102, TDD 301-687-7955.
