FSU's International Film Series Presents “Life is Beautiful”

Frostburg State University’s International Film Series will present “Life is Beautiful” on Tuesday, March 14, at 7 p.m. in the Atkinson Room of the FSU Lane University Center. Admission is free.

“Life is Beautiful” tells the tale of Guido (Roberto Benigni), a charming waiter who’s gifted with a colorful imagination and an irresistible sense of humor. He has won the heart of the women he loves and created a beautiful life for his young family. This life becomes threatened by World War II, and Guido must rely on his strengths to save his wife and son from an unthinkable fate. “Life is Beautiful” was nominated for seven Academy Awards, winning three, including Best Actor for Benigni.
