GIBSONIA, PA —
Frostburg State senior Ryan Grabill (Boonsboro, Md./Williamsport)
was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week Monday.
Grabill, a six-foot, 185-pound guard, sparked the Bobcats to league wins over Penn State Altoona and Pitt-Bradford by averaging 17.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steals.
He shot 64.7 percent (11-of-17) from the floor and was a perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line.
The co-captain scored 12 points, grabbed three rebounds and dished out four assists in a 66-54 defeat of Penn State Altoona last Wednesday and had a season-high 22 points, seven boards and six assists in an 87-63 blowout of Pitt-Bradford Saturday to move the Bobcats into second place in the AMCC.
Grabill is the first FSU player to earn the AMCC's weekly honor this season.
The Bobcats (8-8, 3-2 AMCC) return to action Wednesday when they host La Roche in another AMCC contest at 8:00 pm.
