The accolades keep rolling in for Frostburg State senior Krissy Jackson (Frostburg, Md./Beall)
, who was named to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Southern Softball All-Star Team Wednesday.
Jackson was voted to the first-team as a catcher after leading the Bobcats with a school-record .515 batting average, 35 hits, 10 doubles, four home runs, 28 RBIs, 57 total bases, a school-record .838 slugging percentage and a .607 on-base percentage.
She also ranked third on the team with 22 runs and 15 walks.
In addition to her first-ever ECAC All-Star award, Jackson also earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III Atlantic Region All-America First Team, All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference First Team and AMCC Player of the Year honors this season.
Jackson, who is ranked eighth in doubles per game (0.43), 10th in batting average and 20th in RBIs per game (1.22) in the most recent NCAA Division III national rankings, is just the second Bobcat to earn All-ECAC honors. Former Fort Hill standout Amber Waltz was a two-time selection (1998 and 2001).
