- Senior Stephanie Zych (Guilderland/Slingerlands, N.Y.)
was named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Goalkeeper of the Week and junior Karen Kotofski (Northeast/Glen Burnie, Md.)
was named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Player of the Week for their play this past week as the Bobcats have now won seven in a row and remain undefeated in the AMCC.
Zych, who was named AMCC Goalkeeper of the Week on September 8th, posted two shutouts wins and a double overtime victory this week. She has allowed only four goals over the seven game winning streak, four of which were shutouts.
Kotofski, who was named AMCC Player of the Week on October 6th, netted a pair of goals this week, including the game-winner in the second overtime vs. Pitt-Greensburg. She leads the team with 14 goals scored and 31 points recorded and is now only two points away from tying the school record in career points, which is currently held by Amy Foote at 118 points.
Kotofski is tied for first in the conference with 1.0 goals per game and is third with 2.21 points per game. Zych ranks fourth with a 1.50 goals against average and four shutouts.
Zych, Kotofski and the Bobcats will close out their season this coming week with a make-up game at Bethany (W.Va.) on October 30th at 4:00 pm and a road contest at Penn State Behrend on November 1st starting at noon.
