Frostburg State junior Tracey Little (La Vale, Md./Allegany)
has earned Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III All-Star Honorable Mention honors for the second straight season.
Little, a 6-0 forward, led the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference with 20.2 points, 11.2 rebounds and 2.04 blocks per game. She was also fourth in the league with a 47.3 shooting percentage.
Little became just the 12th player in FSU women's basketball history to surpass the 1,000-point plateau this past season. She currently sits 11th on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,107 points.
Little led the Bobcats in scoring 20 times and was the team’s leading rebounder in 15 games. She had 15 double-doubles, including a career-high 33 point, 13-rebound effort in an 83-63 win over Penn State Altoona in the AMCC quarterfinals. She also scored 32 points in two other games.
Little, who was named the AMCC Player of the Week four times and the ECAC Player of the Week once, helped lead FSU to a 16-12 record and an appearance in the AMCC semifinals.
The Bobcats also earned a berth in the ECAC Southern Championship, where they fell 92-56 to eventual champion DeSales in the first round.
The postseason bid was FSU's first since 1997.
In addition to her ECAC honor, Little was named to the All-AMCC first team and the D3Hoops.com All-Atlantic Region third team.
