Little Named to D3hoops.com All-Atlantic Region Team
03/19/2004

FROSTBURG, MD — Frostburg State junior Tracey Little (LaVale, Md./Allegany) has been named to the 2003-04 D3Hoops.com All-Atlantic Region Third Team.

Little, who earned second-team honors in 2002-03, led the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference with 20.2 points, 11.2 rebounds and 2.04 blocks per game. She was also fourth in the league with a 47.3 shooting percentage.

Little became just the 12th player in FSU women's basketball history to surpass the 1,000-point plateau. She currently sits 11th on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,107 points.

She led the Bobcats in scoring 20 times and was the team’s leading rebounder in 15 games. She had 15 double-doubles, including a career-high 33 point, 13-rebound effort in an 83-63 win over Penn State Altoona in the AMCC quarterfinals. She also hit for 32 points in two other games.

Little also earned first-team All-AMCC honors for the second year in a row and was named the AMCC Player of the Week four times and the ECAC Player of the Week once. She helped lead FSU to a 16-12 record and an appearance in the AMCC semifinals.

The Bobcats also earned a berth in the ECAC Southern Championship, where they fell 92-56 in the first round to eventual champion DeSales.

The postseason bid was FSU's first since 1997.
