Macey Leads Lacrosse to Rout of Methodist

FAYETTEVILLE, NC — Freshman Page Macey (Linthicum, Md./North County) tied her career-high with seven goals and added a personal-best six assists to power visiting Frostburg State to a 20-3 victory over Methodist College Wednesday afternoon.

The Bobcats improved to 4-2 on the season, while the Monarchs dropped to 2-6.

Senior Melissa Lennon (Ellicott City, Md./Mt. Hebron) found the net six times and added an assist, while junior Andrea Duffy (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) scored three times and assisted on another Bobcat tally.

Senior Adey Ntam (Silver Spring, Md./John F. Kennedy) and freshmen Cathy Moffit (Severna Park, Md./Mt. de Sales), Melissa Tomko (Laurel, Md./Pallotti) and Katherine Dashiell (Ocean City, Md./Worcester Prep) also scored for the Bobcats, who have scored 51 goals in their last three games.

Sophomore Sarah Shockley (Fallston, Md./Fallston) earned her fourth win of the year after making five saves. The Bobcats held a 47-8 advantage in shots.

Frostburg State returns to action on Saturday, April 6 when it visits 11th ranked Salisbury at noon.
