FROSTBURG, MD — Redshirt-freshman Brian Owen (Gainesville, Va./Brentsville) hit a shot in the paint with 25 seconds remaing to give the Bobcats the lead for good and junior Victor Arana (Aberdeen, Md./Ellison, Texas (Harford CC)) hit two free throws with 13 seconds remaining to give the Bobcats a 68-65 victory over Lake Erie in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference matchup Friday evening at Bobcat Arena.

Junior Daniel Ryley (Frederick, Md./St. John's Prospect Hall) cut the deficit to one on a foul shot at the 1:18 mark. Lake Erie quickly erased the Bobcat lead with a 12-0 run of its own finished off by a Robert Williams jumper. The Bobcats countered by taking a three point lead, 21-18, on a layup by Antione McCall (Essex, Md./Eastern Tech) with just under six and half minutes remaining.

The Storm used a 12-4 run to take a five-point lead 30-25 with 3:33 left until halftime. FSU scored the last nine points of the first half to take 34-30 lead into the lockerroom.
