ERIE, PA —
Frostburg State (6-14, 2-6) dropped its sixth straight game Saturday in a 77-58 loss to Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent Penn State Behrend. Despite the loss, FSU senior Pierre Bowery (Albert Einstein/Kensington, Md.)
scored 12 points, moving him into third place all-time on the Bobcat scoring list with 1,673 points.
Sophomore Tom Lulich led the Lions (14-6, 8-1) offense with 24 points on six three-pointers, including 16 in the second half, as Behrend never let Frostburg State into the game after halftime.
Freshman T.J. Dorsey (Loudoun Valley/Round Hill, Va.) led the Bobcat offense with 14 points, including four three-pointers. His 3-pointer at 15:59 in the second half was the last time the Bobcats were able to close to within 10-points with the Lions.
Bowery led FSU in scoring in the first half with 10 points and grabbed four rebounds, while senior Robert Jones (Prince Georges C.C./Ft. Washington, Md.), grabbed four of his team-high five rebounds in the half.
Junior David Hairston led two other Lions in double figures with 20 points and grabbing a team-high 8 boards.
The Bobcats return to action at home versus AMCC opponent Pitt-Greensburg on Wednesday, February 12th, at 8 pm.
