GIBSONIA, Pa. —
Frostburg State junior forward/center Dan Ryley (Frederick, Md./St. John's Prospect Hall)
was named to the 2004-05 All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Team. The squad was announced Saturday after the AMCC Tournament championship game.
Ryley, FSU’s lone selection, was voted to the second team for the second consecutive season after averaging 13.2 points and 5.9 rebounds in 24 games.
He shot 50.2 percent (133-265) from the floor, blocked a team-high 37 shots and tied for third on the team with 22 steals.
He scored in double figures 17 times, reaching 20 more points in four games. He had a career-high 30-point effort in an 87-75 loss to Pitt-Greensburg February 19 and added 25 points in an 85-67 defeat at Lake Erie in the first round of the AMCC Tournament February 22.
Frostburg State finished its season 14-12 overall and 9-9 in the AMCC.
