Singer/Songwriter Ryan Adcock to Perform at Frostburg State University
01/27/2003

Frostburg State University's Center Stage Live! at the Loft Series will present singer/songwriter Ryan Adcock on Thursday, Feb. 13, at 8 p.m. in the Derezinski Lounge/Loft, located in the Lane University Center.

A Cincinnati native, Adcock was named the city's "Best Singer/Songwriter" and "Best Rock Vocalist." His dynamic voice and rhythmic guitar combine to create powerful, stripped-down versions of his recorded material. His most recent release is "From Silence and Joy." Adcock is also known as an enchanting storyteller who often has his audiences in tears of laughter with his tales of life on the road. In the past year, he performed at more than 100 venues in 39 states.

"This guy would sound great in any venue!" says Pete Robinson of Epic Records, who is known for discovering the Dave Matthews Band.

Adcock's appearance is free and open to the public. For more information, call the Lane University Center Information Desk at (301) 687-4411.

FSU is committed to making all of its programs, services and activities accessible to persons with disabilities. You may request accommodations through the ADA Compliance Office, (301) 687-4102, TDD (301) 687-7955.
