Frostburg State University will present an admission-free Technology Showcase as part its 2001 "A November to Remember" Homecoming Weekend, Nov. 1 through 4.
This Technology Showcase will have exhibits for all ages including interactive student demonstrations and a special children's section to demonstrate fun and amusing technology of digital photography.
The Technology Showcase will be held at the Lewis J. Ort Library from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 3 on the third floor.
According to Colleen Peterson, FSU Director of Alumni Programs and chair of the Homecoming committee, the addition of a technology showcase will be "both informational and entertaining" for alumni.
"This program provides an opportunity for our students and faculty to demonstrate their achievements in the rapidly changing field of technology," says Peterson. "Not only will the showcase feature state-of-the-art exhibits, but many of the demonstrations will be interactive, inviting participation by those who attend."
