Three Football Players Ranked in NCAA National Statistics

FROSTBURG, Md. — Three Frostburg State players are ranked in this week’s Division III national football statistics released Tuesday by the NCAA.

For the seventh straight week, senior defensive end Kevin Culbert (Purcellville, Va./Loudoun Valley) leads the country in both tackles for loss (3.3 per game) and sacks (1.7 per game). He is also 43rd with 5.9 solo stops per contest.

Freshman placekicker Mark Sedlock (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom) is fifth in the nation with 1.2 field goals made per game.

Freshman punt returner Brandon Tann (Accokeek, Md./Gwynn Park) is 24th in the country with an 12.9-yard punt return average.

The Bobcats (6-4, 1-4 ACFC) return to action this Saturday when they host Moravian in the ECAC Southwest Championship Bowl at Bobcat Stadium at noon.
