Close play followed in game two, as the Bobcats had an 17-15 edge at the midway point. FSU looked to take control with a 9-1 spurt, but Moravian answered with a 6-1 stretch to make it a 27-22 contest. Once again, the Bobcats recorded three of the final four points to claim the 30-23 win.
FSU held an early 8-7 lead in game three before going on an 8-2 run to open a 16-9 cushion. After the teams traded points, Bobcat senior Lauren Petrick (Denton, Md./North Caroline) served up eight straight winners, including back-to-back aces, to give FSU a 25-10 advantage.
A 10-3 run by Moravian made it a 28-20 contest before the Bobcats scored the final two points to seal the match.
