PITTSBURGH, Pa. —
With a game-high 18 points, junior Krystin Hargrove (Silver Spring, Md./Springbpook)
led the Frostburg State women’s basketball team in scoring for the fourth time in five games, to a 68-51 win over La Roche Saturday evening at Kerr Fitness and Sports Center.
The Bobcats (8-2, 4-0 AMCC) came out on fire shooting 46.2 percent from the floor in first half while holding the Redhawks (1-7, 0-4 AMCC) to 35.3 percent. FSU continued the pressure in the second half with a 40.5 percent effort with the hosts mustering just 26.5 percent from the field.
Senior Kenya Broadnax (Jessup, Md./Howard) and redshirt-sophomore Amanda Hernandez (Crofton, Md./Arundel) each added 12 points for Frostburg State while senior Stephanie Watts (Baltimore, Md./North County) led the unit with 10 rebounds.
The Bobcats return to action Friday, January 13 when they host Hilbert at 6:00 pm.
