Women's Lacrosse Among National Statistical Leaders

FROSTBURG, Md. — Frostburg State is ranked among the national leaders in this week’s NCAA Division III women’s lacrosse statistics.

As a team, the Bobcats are fourth in the nation in ground balls per game (37.59).

Individually, junior Stefanie Ritz (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) is sixth in ground balls per game (5.71), while sophomore Tina Trent (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) is 18th (4.82).

Additionally, junior Kelley Duncan (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) is tied for third in the nation with her nine-goal performance in FSU’s 18-8 win over Villa Julie April 19, while sophomore goalie Rachael Lewis (Laurel, Md./Wilde Lake) is tied for seventh in the nation with her 22-save effort in a 10-9 win over Ursinus April 21.

The Bobcats concluded the 2005 season with a 7-10 record.
