About the HR Office

Mission
The mission of the Office of Human Resources (OHR) is to meet the human service needs of the employees of Frostburg State University. OHR shall meet those needs through the development and administration of sound policies and procedures, outreach programs, benefit packages, and employee training initiatives administered in an effective and efficient manner and benefiting those for whom they are designed to serve. OHR shall be innovative, motivated, educated, and resourceful. We shall seek, at all times and under all circumstances, to provide the highest level of service to both our internal and external customers, promoting a climate that values diversity, inclusiveness, and sensitivity to others. We shall continually monitor the needs of those customers and our ability to meet those needs; changing and updating policies, procedures, benefit plans, and technology when warranted. We shall not be static but rather remain abreast of changes impacting our areas of service, always looking for better ways to serve our constituency.
