Kathy develops policy and coordinates human resources activities such as recruitment, classification and compensation, labor and employee relations, human resource information systems (HRIS), benefit analysis and administration, training and employee services, employee recognition, and special projects. Kathy coordinates and serves as Chief Negotiator in FSU’s labor negotiations with three bargaining units. She coordinates the risk management function by monitoring safety issues, reviewing and monitoring worker's compensation issues, providing employee training, and keeping abreast of risk management issues affecting the workplace and the worker.
