As discussed with your hiring department, you will receive an employment agreement with Frosturg State University outlining the details of your assignment. Frostburg State University reserves the right to terminate this contract at will upon two weeks' written notice. Service under this agreement does not qualify you for accrual of years' service nor provide for the usual fringe benefits associated with a regular appointment. This agreement establishes an at-will employer-employee relationship between the University and the employee. All the rights and privileges available to the Employee are governed solely by the provisions of this contract consistent with Board of Regents Policy on Contingent Employment for Exempt and Nonexempt employees (VII-1.40) (the Policy). Except as expressly provided by this contract, USM policy, or applicable law, the Employee is entitled to none of the rights and benefits afforded any other employee of the University System of Maryland or any other State Agency.
