Contingent employees are eligible to participate in the State of Maryland health insurance programs. If interested, you must complete an application for health benefits within sixty (60) days of the effective date of your first contract. You pay 100% of the premiums directly to the State of Maryland Department of Budget and Management.

A premium rate sheet is available from the Office of Human Resources. Please call OHR at 301/687-4105 if you are interested in purchasing health insurance or if you have any questions or need additional information.
