Do I have to obtain my supervisor’s approval to attend training?

  • Yes, you must obtain approval from your supervisor before you attend any of the courses.

Are all trainings free of charge?

  • Unless specified, all in-house trainings organized by our office are free of charge.

If the training is not job-related, can I still attend it?

  • While all training sessions are offered  to all employees, we expect employees to get the approval of their supervisor before they attend.

I would like to volunteer to do training? How do I join in?

  • Send an email to  or and provide the following information: your name, department, telephone, course title, brief course description and date and time you wish to conduct this course.

I am a nonexempt employee, am I qualified to conduct training?

  • Your status as nonexempt is not relevant. What is important is your expertise and willingness to conduct the training with confidence. We all can learn from each other.

I registered for a course but because of unavoidable circumstance, I can’t attend. How do I withdraw?

  • You can go to the training site and remove yourself from the course.

Is there a record of all training that an employee has attended?

  • Yes, OHR keeps records of all courses attended except for Free Online Courses.
