Volunteer Training Program
A unique feature of our training and development program is that almost all of our courses are conducted by volunteers who are faculty and staff members of the University. Our volunteers are all experts in their field.
The Volunteer Training Program is an employee-train-employee concept. It was developed with the notion that employees have certain expertise that they can share with others. Employees are a great source of knowledge, skill and experience. They can be and are effective trainers. The Volunteer Training Program is an opportunity for volunteerism for our employees.
Qualifications - The program is open to all employees, whether you are exempt, non-exempt, or faculty. Individuals who are not members of the university community are welcome to volunteer in this program as well. There are no specific requirements other than a willingness to serve and share your knowledge and expertise. You should be willing to devote at least one hour on a course and an hour or two on curriculum development.
Brief course description
Date and time you wish to conduct this course (this is optional as it depends on the availability of a room but stating the day and time that you prefer will be helpful).
