ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR
POSITION NO.: 08-010242-WEB

Admissions Office, seeks applications for an Admissions Counselor. This is a full-time, exempt position that includes USM benefits package.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the recruitment of undergraduate students to the University. Recruit students at college fairs, high schools, and community colleges. Conduct interviews with prospective students and families. Review undergraduate applications. Assist with recruiting activities such as Saturday Open Houses and Area Receptions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree, excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to work well as part of a team, the ability to work independently, a valid driver's license, and the desire to travel.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of Maryland and the surrounding area as well as knowledge of the higher education process, more specifically, the requirements for Frostburg State University students.

This is an entry-level position and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
