STAFF PSYCHOLOGIST/COUNSELOR The Counseling and Psychological Services Department seeks applications for a Staff Psychologist/Counselor. This is a full-time exempt position with USM benefits package. Position is available August 2009. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide individual and group counseling to students; perform outreach programming, consultation, training, supervision, and crisis intervention. Individual will have expertise in one or more of the following areas: brief psychotherapy, gender and multicultural issues, eating concerns, and substance abuse. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, Counseling or closely related field with experience working in a college counseling center. Ability to obtain licensing as a professional counselor within two years. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctorate in Counseling Psychology, Counseling or closely related field.
Completion of an APA internship and two years experience in a college
