ADJUNCT LECTURER - SECONDARY EDUCATION AND SUPERVISION Department of Educational Professions invites applications for adjunct teaching positions in the area of secondary education and field supervision. Positions are located at the University System of Maryland in Hagerstown and in Professional Development Schools located in Frederick and Washington Counties. Instructors and Supervisors are needed beginning in Fall 2007. Courses are held in the evening; supervision requires a daytime commitment. Positions include Secondary Curriculum, Instructional Design, Assessment, Reading, English/Language Arts, and Social Studies for the Master of Arts in Teaching Secondary Program. Field Supervisors are needed for Secondary MAT candidates. The Supervisors will need to work collaboratively with school partners. Applicants must also be able to use technology to enhance instruction. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Masters of Education with emphasis in the content area and secondary teaching experience; demonstrated commitment to teaching, scholarship, and service.
