LECTURER OF PSYCHOLOGY
POSITION NO.: 10-010336-WEB

Department of Psychology. FSU seeks a full-time non-tenure track Lecturer in Psychology; specialty area open. Start date negotiable, expected spring/early summer 2010. This is a new position within the FSU Department of Psychology which will be housed at the University System of Maryland Center at Hagerstown (USMH). USMH offers over 20 programs from five institutions within the University System of Maryland, including FSU. This position is designed to enable students with an AA degree to earn their BA/BS degree in psychology. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaching duties include a two-semester research methods course sequence and other courses selected from a wide range of junior/senior content courses. Administrative duties consist of recruitment of students; building collaborative relationships with area community colleges; community outreach; interface with FSU Frostburg campus.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Doctorate in Psychology by June 2010, a commitment to excellence in teaching, strong interpersonal skills.
