Jim is responsible for development, implementation, and administration of FSU safety and risk management programs to ensure staff, faculty, public, and student safety, eliminate risk, and assure compliance with OSHA, MOSH, the Maryland Asbestos Safety and Health program, and all other applicable health and safety standards. Jim conducts required van drivers’ safety training and educates the campus community in accordance with Maryland’s SERMA (State Employee Risk Management Administration) program. He also works with Rosemary Hall on employee risk management and wellness initiatives.
