Research Port - Developed by the libraries within the University System of Maryland (USM), this information portal gives Frostburg students, faculty, and staff access to 60 online article databases for conducting research. Research Port coverage includes more than 22,000 full-text, scholarly journals, magazines, and newspapers in a wide variety of academic disciplines.

Research Port Access from on-campus/off-campus:

• From any computer at FSU, click on any Research Port link or point your browser to http://researchport.umd.edu. You will automatically be logged into the system.
   
• From off-campus, click on any Research Port link or point your browser to http://researchport.umd.edu. You will first be be prompted to choose your campus affiliation, and then enter the 14-digit barcode number from your FSU ID card and your last name. Then click on the “Login” button.
   
• For direct database access when Research Port may be experiencing technical difficulties,  point your browser to http://libguides.frostburg.edu/databaselist to access databases separately from a list (login required as outlined above).
