The purpose of this page is to provide members of the FSU community with up-to-date information on upcoming events that support sustainability and are in line with our Learning Green, Living Green Initiative.

January - April 2008: Recyclemania. For the first time, FSU is participating in Recyclemania, a national, 10-week competition for colleges and universities to reduce waste and promote recycling. This event coincides with the first week of spring semester classes.

April 22, 2008: Earth Day, 2008. An annual event at FSU to promote environmental awareness.

In the News:

Jan. 17, 2008 - Frostburg State University holds Focus the Nation, a national teach-in on global warming solutions.

July 31, 2007 - Dr. Gibralter appointed to Governor O'Malley's Greenhouse Gas and Carbon Mitigation Working Group.

June 14, 2007 - FSU President Jonathan Gibralter joins the Leadership Circle of the ACUPCC.

April 25, 2007 - Frostburg State University becomes a member of the ACUPCC.
