Frostburg State University graduate Craig Bowman has been named the FSU College of Business Alumnus of the Year. He was presented with the honor by FSU President Jonathan Gibralter at the annual College of Business Honors Reception held recently, which also recognized the top business students of the year.

FROSTBURG, Md. – Frostburg State senior centerfielder Taylor Vandegrift earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-American honors at the NCAA Division III Softball Championship Banquet, Thursday evening. Vandegrift becomes the program's first All-American after being placed on the third team.

Every year, Frostburg State University holds a Leadership Awards Ceremony hosted by the Office of Leadership and Experiential Learning, a way of saying thank you to the campus leaders who give so much to FSU, the local community and the world. The Frostburg Center for Creative Writing is celebrating the sixth annual Nightsun Writers Conference on Thursday, July 25, through Sunday, July 28, in downtown Frostburg, Md. The program provides participants with workshop opportunities, individualized feedback on their work and craft sessions and is designed to generate new material for publication, hone the participants’ creative writing skills and initiate a larger writing community.
