Frostburg State University has received final approval to offer a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, with the first students to begin studies in the fall. This applied doctoral program is FSU’s first, the culmination of more than three years of work by the FSU faculty and administration.

High school students with dreams of becoming world-renowned authors will have the chance to bring those dreams a little closer to reality with the Savage Mountain Creative Writing Workshop. Frostburg State University’s Center for Creative Writing will host its annual Savage Mountain Creative Writing Workshop beginning on Sunday, June 24, and ending on Saturday, June 30. The cost for commuter students is $300, and for students who wish to reside on campus, the cost is $550.
