Randy Haveson will present "Party Time" at Frostburg State University at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 10, in the Lane University Center's Alice R. Manicur Assembly Hall. This program, sponsored by FSU's SAFE Office, is free and open to the public.
A nationally acclaimed speaker, Haveson will share his simple formula to help listeners make smarter decisions about alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. His programs are inspired both by his personal insights as a former abuser of drugs and alcohol and his professional experience as a coordinator of alcohol and other drug education at several universities. He also explores the relationship between self-esteem and alcohol.
The BACCHUS and GAMMA Peer Education Network named Haveson one of their "Best of the Best" speakers in their 25-year history because of the high marks he earns at their international peer education conferences. His dynamic and inspiration presentations have touched the lives of thousands of people throughout North America since 1985.
