Frostburg State University's Campus Activities Board will present "Sex Signals" at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, in the Lane University Center's Alice R. Manicur Hall. Sponsored by Center Stage and the Office of Student & Community Involvement, this program is free and open to the public.
Blending a unique combination of improvisational comedy, education and audience participation, "Sex Signals" provides a provocative look at the issues of dating, sex and date rape on college campuses. The show explores how mixed messages, gender role stereotypes and unrealistic fantasies contribute to misunderstandings between the sexes.
Although the message is serious, "Sex Signals" uses humor to engage audiences in candid discussions about interpersonal relationships. Seasoned educators and facilitators, the performers strike a balance between laughing about the often humorous differences between men and women and communicating some serious messages about how we treat one another.
