The Activities for Life Center at Frostburg State University is offering a Golf Clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays, April 22 and May 15, from 5 to 6 p.m.
The class will be held at the Maplehurst Country Club with Rick Flowers, golf pro, as the instructor. Flowers will offer eight 1-hour clinics over a four-week period, including group and individual instruction.
Sessions will focus on the golf swing, putting, chipping, rules/etiquette, etc. Beginner and intermediate golfers will benefit most from these classes. Players will benefit most by having a full set of golf clubs; however, a 7 iron, wedge, putter and wood are adequate. Sneakers will be sufficient; golf shoes would provide the most benefit. The class is limited to 12 participants.
Fees must be paid no later than April 17. For more information and registration contact Amy Nazelrod, Center coordinator at (301) 687-7934.
