First-Ever FSU Alumni Jazz Band Performance Held This Saturday

Thirty-five alumni of the Frostburg State University Jazz Ensemble are returning for a special concert under the direction of FSU professor Jon Bauman on Saturday, April 5, at 8 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center Pealer Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.

The performance includes music from the last 70 years of big band jazz. Alumni from Maine to California will be on hand for the show that features selections from George and Ira Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Woody Herman and others.
