The Frostburg State University Dance Company will present its spring dance concert at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, and Friday, April 18, and at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, in the Performing Arts Center's Drama Theatre.
The concert will feature a variety of works, including a restaging of Jane Dudley's 1934 solo, "Harmonica Breakdown," featuring Lori Cannon; an original composition by the first graduate of FSU's dance major, Amy Gordon; several pieces from this spring's beginning and advanced choreography classes and the première of Fischer's "Daddy Cool," a high-energy, jazz dance.
Tickets are available at the PAC Box Office, open weekdays from 2 to 4 p.m. For information and reservations, call (301) 687-7462. Tickets are $8 for the general public, $4 for students and senior citizens and $2 on Friday night only for students from schools in Allegany and Garrett Counties.
