Frostburg State University Biology Professor Amy Harman of Frostburg was installed April 26 as president of the Maryland State Alpha Beta chapter of the Delta Gamma Society, an organization of key woman educators.
Harman has held a number of offices in the local Alpha Alpha chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, and she is active in the American Association of University Women, Business and Professional Women, Parent Teacher Association, FSU's United Campus Ministry and her church.
The Delta Kappa Gamma Society promotes professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education. Founded in 1929, the international honor society includes more than 150,000 key women educators in 14 countries.
