The Frostburg State University Planetarium resumes its Sunday public programs on Sept. 7. Each Sunday, the Planetarium offers free presentations at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., each lasting less than an hour.
The September feature is "Our Planet, Skies of Mars and Marswatch.".
The presentations are live and interactive. A brief look at the current evening sky is included at the start. Weather permitting, there is safe viewing of the
sun's surface prior to the 4 p.m. showing. Weather permitting, there is telescopic viewing of the evening moon and Mars following the 7 p.m. showing.
The Planetarium is in Room 302 of Tawes Hall, across the street from the new Compton Science Center. There is convenient free parking nearby.
