FSU Presents 'Who are the Muslims and What is Islam?'
Release Date: 09/26/2003

The second part of Frostburg State University's Religion and the Middle East Series, "Who Are the Muslims and What is Islam?" will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 13, at 7:30 p.m. in Room 201, Lane University Center's Atkinson Room.

Iman Qasim Burmi, leader of the Islamic Society of Western Maryland, Hagerstown, will make the presentation.

The third and final program in the series, which will take place in the 2004 spring semester, will deal with "Israeli-Palestinian Relations and Hopes for the Future." Both Rabbi Stephen Sniderman of B'er Chayim Congregation, Cumberland, and Imam Burmi will be in dialogue.
