Alexander to Give Guitar Recital at FSU
Release Date: 10/21/2003

Frostburg State University music student Chris Alexander will present a guitar recital on Sunday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center Pealer Recital Hall.

Alexander’s selections will include “Romance” – Anonymous, “Malaguena” – Anonymous, “Estudios Sencillos (11-15)” by Leo Brower, “Gymnopedie No. 1” by Erik Satie and “Menuet No. 5” by Fernando Sor, among others.

A senior, Alexander has been studying at FSU with guitar instructor Scott Elliot. After graduation in May of 2004, Alexander hopes to continue performing and teach at the college level.

He is a graduate of Flintstone High School.
