Nathan Robert Royer, a senior at Frostburg State University, will present a euphonium recital on Sunday, Nov. 2, at 3 p.m. in the FSU Performing Arts Center Pealer Recital Hall. The recital is free and open to the public.
Royer's selections will include "Rondo Concertante" by William MacDavis, "Lento" from "Euphonium Concerto" by Joseph Horovitz, "Sonata in F minor" by Georg Philip Teleman, "Verdigris" by Gary Lee Nelson, "Love Song" by Bert Truax and "Fantasy" by Philip Sparke. He will be accompanied by Ellen Putman on piano and harpsichord.
Royer, who is pursuing a music management degree, is a student of Brian Plitnik. A graduate of Mount Saint Joseph School, he is the son of Robert and Diane Royer of Glenn Burnie, Md.
