David Myers Jr., a Frostburg State University senior, will present a voice recital on Friday, Oct. 31, at 8 p.m. in the FSU Performing Arts Center Pealer Recital Hall. The recital is free and open to the public.
Myers, a tenor, will sing "Star Vicino," "O Del Mio Amato Ben" by Donaudy, "In Der Fremde" by Schumann, "Wanderers Nachtlied" by Schubert, "Standchen" by Schubert, "Ouvre Ton Coeur" by Bizet, "Offrande" by Hahn, "L'heure Exquise" by Hahn, "Six Elizabethan Songs" by Argento, "Dies Bildniss Ist Bezaubernd Schon" by Mozart, "Il Mio Tesoro" by Mozart and "Lonely House" by Kurt Weill.
Myers, who is pursuing a choral music education degree, is a student of Dr. Karen Soderberg-Sarnaker. His is the son of David and Nicki Myers of Clear Spring, Md., and a graduate of Clear Spring High School.
