FSU Jazz Ensemble to Present Concert Nov. 7

Frostburg State University's Jazz Ensemble will present a concert Friday, Nov. 7, at 8 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center Pealer Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.

Directed by Jenny Menna, professor of flute, the program will be contemporary jazz, featuring pieces by John Fedchock and Jeff Jarvis and Chick Corea. The rhythmic range from swing to Latin to funk exhibits the musical versatility of the band. The concert will also feature faculty guest soloists as well as student soloists.
